Climbing Forest

Directly on the shores of the Bavarian seaside, in the heart of Prien is one of the most spectacular climbing centres in Upper Bavaria. Over its 10,000 square meter area, young and old can enjoy the exciting challenges of clambering and climbing over bridges, nets and ropes.

Our 7 different courses are a great way of experiencing nature. We guarantee climbing enjoyment, from exciting beginners experiences to the adrenaline rush of the most difficult course.

The individual elements of the courses are integrated into the forest in such a way that the natural surroundings are left completely untouched. Construction took compatibility with nature into account, using the finest larch wood as building material, creating a climbing forest in harmony with the natural surroundings.

It is important that visitors bring a solid pair of shoes, sports clothing, as well as a good dose of physical skills, fun and passion for adventure and nature! After safety training with our expert personnel, you are all set to take to the trees!

Our target groups

Families and visitors, young people and school classes, companies and groups (e.g. company outings) are all welcome, as are spectators! The Prien am Chiemsee climbing forest is perfect for all the family or company employees thanks to its variety of skill levels. It is perfect for everyone looking to experience nature close up.

Opening hours

Open from the start of April to the end of October, as well as in certain periods during winter. Bookings are always possible. Prices: All prices are for 3 hours admission to Prien am Chiemsee climbing forest.
